I would like to add gold to the color scheme if possible. My town colors will be mainly red and gold, with a little black and gray here and there. And change "Mayor" of America and Hawaii to "Co-Mayor". I goofed. That's it.
Anny, I'm rather curious as to what software you use to make these designs. I've recently started in the field of 3D modeling and animation and was curious if you have any experience in that area.
She uses photoshop, I am pretty sure. Just get her answer if you don't think so but last time i checked it was photoshop On the first page I believe she said that, answering aomeones question.
Curious, I was unaware you could produce this effect with just photoshop Is that the only program anny uses?
Gimp and Photoshop both have the ability of downloading different plug-ins, filters, etc. The range of possibilities is amazing.
Hello Jason. I use Novaskin to pose the avatars, but everything else is entirely done in photoshop. I'm more of a graphic artist and painter type designer, so I hand do all the shadows/lighting with brush/tools. I have some experience with 3D modeling using Cinema 4D and I could use programs like Blender etc as well... but I truly prefer doing these artwork by hand with brushes via photoshop versus 3D rendering.
Maco20047 Finished banner, thanks for being so patient! I tried my best to incorporate all the things you requested. However the program I used I was having issues with the redstone blocks so I just used diamond and gold. Hope you like it! Spent a long time on it. xD
I've actually been using blender to start out with. It's extremely difficult to learn, but I'm getting there. Just asking your opinion, do you think I should poke around with tools like photoshop, gimp, and ect? Even though I'm mainly looking at 3D?
Maco20047 Glad you like it! Thanks :3 I think you should definitely! Doesn't hurt to experiment and learn how to use different tools. Especially when it comes to art, creativity should not be limited! So learning how to use and being able to combine different programs to use is an essential skill I believe for any digital artist. Imo you should give it a try! And NOW I'm actually using a FREE 3D Minecraft program that allows you to pose/animate simple 3D minecraft avatars/objects and it's called Mine-imator. For me I need something fast/easy/dependent, and I don't have time to use fancy 3D programs atm, since my main focus is more of a hand-drawn/painted style (thus touching up on photoshop by hand vs 3D rendering). This program works so much better than my previous experience with Novaskin. Anyways yeah just wanted to update ya on what I use now.

It was a few weeks ago when I decided that I couldn't take it any longer. Those Minecraft animations on youtube were just too plain awesome. The first program I came upon was Mine-imator. I fiddled around with it for a few days (even made a few animations) when my older brother (who does a bit of this) told me about blender. Then I realized I was tooling around with a toy. So I got blender and never looked back. I hadn't ever thought about using Mine-imator for just simple poses, but then again, I had never used anything like it before and quickly moved on to blender. Well, thanks for the advice, I'll certainly look into learning a few ropes on some drawing programs. Good luck with your future creations
Yeah I used to play around with 3D stuff in 4D Cinema. There's a couple examples of my work below if you're curious to see how far I got with my 3D-modeling skills. xD Spoiler But mainly for this business I just need something simple and fast. I have the option of downloading and using a minecraft avatar rig for 4D Cinema (the 3d program I own and am familiar with) however as I said, it would just be too time consuming and mine-imator has just about everything I need atm on it.
