Church!!!

As I find this very offensive.

 

A fictional religion is fine, if you find this offensive then you must find 90% of all non-fictional religions offensive, too. (There are a lot more religions aside from the couple of big ones)

This religion is not meant as a mockery, nor is it meant to resemble any non-fictional religion.
It's meant to be something silly, it's NOT serious.

Jason1964 I would like to say that you don't need to pay attention to something silly, simply ignore it if you don't like it. It's fictional, it's silly, it's nothing worth getting offended about.

Notch isn't a god, but he IS the creator of Minecraft, and in some cultures trees are seen as the givers of life.

There are so many religions in this world, getting offended by a small fictional one is silly.

Contrary to your assumption, non-fiction religions do not offend me. They are REAL religions. But I can't say more then that without breaking rules.

But this is a JOKE, it's poking fun at real religion!
This is turning into another case of staff saying use /ignore if you don't want to hear it.

 

I will do some investigating, if this religion indeed closely resembles a real religion and indeed pokes fun of it, I WILL shut it down, if it does not I will let them continue.

You complaining about another religion is offensive, as you are impeding on their freedom of speech and beliefs...

If you find a 'real' religion offensive you don't visit their church or try to shut it down, you just ignore it.

 

You're deeply offended over someone making a church to praise the minecraft developer Notch? I don't want to sound mean but just ignore it, it's not like they will be pming you to join or anything

Sadly this is how the world works. One person says "I AM HIGHLY OFFENDED!!!". Even though they aren't being forced to have anything to do with said thing they are HIGHLY OFFENDED!! by, everyone else is affected.
