Im just suggesting a chat box in the fourms so we could just chat in times like these where the sever is down.

If only it was that simple D:
-
maybe we can have skype group chat.. its possible ;)
-
its easy to install and register
-
I have a Skype, haha
-
If there was a chatbox, it'd probably need to be moderated a lot. D: I used to use chat boxes a lot, and they got.. insane. ('specially when random trolls appeared. :/)
Skype is awesome. <3 -
What would a shoutbox be in this case? o.o I've seen shoutboxes mean chatboxes, and also just boxes that admins/moderators would post short news/shouts in. xD
-
I haven't used Ventrillo in years.. Last time was when I played WoW. Not everyone has mics, though. D: It'd be nice if it could be something to chat in that doesn't require a mic ('cause I'm sure not everyone would be playing in-game while on ventrillo, and others in-game would get confused by those who have to type). However, I don't know if Vent got a IM feature in the last couple years.. o.o

I use vent on the daily wile playing L4d, CSS, HL2TDM, TF2, L4d2. I mean I personally <3 it and think it would be a good implementation into this community.
There is a chat feature in vent but it is in a separate window. I think that ppl could afford a 15 buck Logitech mic. Then we can put voices to then names -

Whats with skype? Works the same, and i personally prefer "mumble" and "teamspeak", not Vent.
-
teamspeak is also great... I used to talk on it (counter strike :) )
-
I never heard of the "mumble" thing. o: My dad used to use teamspeak for Guild Wars, but everyone I had spoken to on Vent said Vent was better. xD I love Skype more than anything, though, 'cause it's all completely free. Only 'downside' is that a call would need to be started, rather than popping into Ventrillo whenever and just talking with anyone sitting there already.
A poll would be nice. o: -

Teamspeak 3 would be better, in my opinion. I've used both and i hate vent.
