    Suggestion:
Change torch value or change glowstone/sealamp value

    Reason:
Currently, torches are worth 2 to island points. where as glowstone and sealamps are only worth 1. To me this doesn't make too much sense if you're going off of how hard the block is to get or the work involved. I can just smelt some wood and make a ton of charcoal for torches. Sealamps? As far as I know you gotta get the items to make them from a challenge. Glowstone? dust can drop from witches but the main supply is out in the nether. Where pvp is. It's also kinda slow to mine.

I'm not suggesting hiking the value up a lot. I'd be cool to have glowstone/sealamps worth 2, or maybe drop torches down to 1 to match the other light sources? Just seems a little off to me.

Certainly agree with this. However there are lot of unbalanced values. Another example is Cobble/stone is 1 and stone brick is 2. (Unless it was changed recently). Jamie mentioned he will be changing the block values at a later time however.

I guess what you are saying is that if Cobble = 1, then stone should = 2 handled and worked on twice, and then stone brick should be 3 (handled and worked on three times? Effort should have some merit in how it is valued which does not always seem to be the case now.

Stonebrick should stay the same as 2 and stone should be 2 as well. Since there really isn't much work Transferring Stone to Stonebricks.

My suggestion is to put glowstone as 2, torches as 1 and Sealamps as 3.
