1) Add a kit free arena
2) Those who want it, play it.
3) If the kit free arena is ingame, you have to play the others
4) Everyone wins. You can farm your noobs and they can at least have a chance of staying with us
I like the ideas, expect for taking the bows from your "attack group" kits.

I have a few issues with these ideas.
Splitting the kits up sounds okay in theory. But I do not like the idea of having to spawn even more kits than I already have to spawn currently.
In addition to this My hunter kit (which I paid $75 for) will become useless if I can only use 2 kits per game.
-1 -
It won't become useless, just requires a decision between potions or a compass. Forces kitters to make wise decisions based on their environement and other users in the game.

I am not going to pick a compass over potions when everyone else has them. -
But then no one has a compass, so you know exactly where everyone is while you wait them out ;)
I still support the idea of kit splitting and limiting.-

I like this, it's a good suggestion, but may not be something for now considering we recently just nerfed buffer.

I think that kits are good for tehe conomy because they cost a lot of money and keep the server up while it makes older players happy and therefore I do not think that they should be changed. -1
-
Keeping older players happy is a great way to ruin something. There's a reason banks, hair salons, dentistry offices and many other enterprises offer sign up offers. They get people to join them. To keep ecocitycraft growing and thriving you need new players. Builders are the backbone of this server however now kits don't seem to be as much of a problem now though. Anyway, keeping new players on the server should be the number one focus of a server though
-
Um, no, it's not... however not paying any attention to new players is a good way to ruin something. It's kinda like an economy. You need balance. Satisfy the new people, disregard the old members, and you will never have any lasting users. Do the opposite and satisfy the old and not the new and you get the same effect just reversed. And I don't think kits are the sole reason why people never stay here.
-
I like the idea of limiting the amount of kits one can have in the game, and splitting them up into attack/support. IDK how this would be implemented (since I don't code XD ) but it indirectly nerfs kits and makes users pick and chose more carefully
-
Yea I did word it incorrectly. I was just trying to get the point across that we need to keep newer players coming into the server. Doing that involves reducing things that piss them off before they get the idea of a economy server. Getting completely destroyed by overpowered sg kits will do just that to them.
