I happen to have this problem too every once in a while, but it has never been serious enough for me to post a bug report. Anyways, I always assumed it was client-side lag and luckily most items were usually cheap. In my case, there were some times that I broke a block, and when trying to pick it up, it'd just simply stay there at the ground, even seeming to be slightly below the level it is supposed to be (like it was stuck in the middle of the block), I dug to try to retrieve it but it kept going down and I couldn't. Placed dirt to see if it goes back up, which it did, but still the sprite kept looking as if it was 'stuck' inside the ground, so I couldn't get it either. Inventory wasn't full, and after relogging the drop had disappeared (block was still broken). I have no mods or texture packs installed. Is this what happens to you?

I also have this anoying bug and i wasnt able to pick up anything and was whaiting hours for the restart... It restarted and i still cant pick up anything. Could this be fixed asap?!?!?!?
ok i just enterd game to store my armor and pickaxe and i see its all gone... for the love of god tell me you didnt wipe my gear cuz i cant afford to buy new!!!!!
Will this affect the inventory in my other regular chests? If it doesnt, please correct my playeer profile. If it will, for the love of god, do not. thanks!
