    Hi,
    When I click on my minecraft icon this comes up: "Could Not create the Java Virtual Machine"

    I have tried installing java 6 and 7. Please help, as I want to play ECC again!

    make sure you are installing the right Java.

    I'm guessing you need 64bit.

    I have Java Runtime Environment 1.7.0 64 bit. It keeps coming up with this message: (Only when I use the Minecraft.bat suggestion thing)

    That commandline message makes no sense, you are supposed to launch a minecraft.jar file with a bat file.


    So minecraft.jar (downloadable from minecraft.net)

    and a bat file that says:

java -cp minecraft.jar net.minecraft.LauncherFrame
pause
