When I was a Builder/Resident/Mayor (all pre-Mod of course) I made many friends whom I called upon for help in times that I needed it, and offered my assistance in turn when or as I could.

Most of these now former, or semi-retired, minions have towns and responsibilities of their own, so, I need some new hires, so to speak, to further the glory of the KMax Nation.

Some things I may ask of a minion:
- build a home for pre-build sale in one of my towns
- mine/excavate a section of land
- farm one of my farms and 'sell' to me (very cheaply) the harvest
- place dirt over an ocean

Some things a minion may ask of me:
- free shop plot (12x12) in Maerimydra
- discounted rate on a plot in my 5th town (Thessalon)
- discounted e-repairs (though repairs will be free during excavations jobs)
- free or discounted prices on materials (depending on type and amount requested)
- donation services: TPs, disposal signs, lifts, gates, cooking pots

Think you have what it takes? In that case, supply me the info below:

Minions will be held to exacting standards of conduct. Some slip-ups are understandable, and sometimes things said in a moment of frustration just can't be avoided... however, none of my minions are to break ECC's rules in any way, in addition to the following:

1. No fighting among minions. There are no minion ranks, it is not a popularity contest. Those who do the job right the first time or are online when I need help will get the job(s).
2. No begging. I have little patience for those who take without giving back. No work = no reward.
3. Failure to complete a job, without valid reason, or a ban other than by your own request, will result in demotion from minion status.

More rules may be added based on improper behaviours at a later date.

 

Wonderful! I am happy to have such willing minions.

 

But... minions are awesome. I could very easily call you 'henchmen' but that sounds rather vile.

I treat my minions well, as several semi-retired ones can attest to. And, all evidence to the contrary, you can say 'no' to a task or assignment if you have another obligation or job of your own. You can seek employment or start a business, have you own land or farms, whatever you want. This is just a little bit more a formal acknowledgement of a give and take relationship.

Who knows, we could become friends and then you won't be a minion any more!

 

It's not that there is no pay, just that money might not be the only method of payment. Things like enchanted tools, food, raw or buildable material, assistance with donation related services, etc, are all part of what I offer in exchange for what I might ask a minion to do... and, the minion can opt to decline.
