just change the avatar dimensions to 90x90 in the user control panel avatar changing page, this will automatically resize the image.

It isn't that easy... I've tried several times to do that with .gifs, and it doesn't work. Or, at least, it doesn't work with a .gif over the KiB amount the forum allows. The .gif Monkey's .gif may be too big. o_O

It has worked with all the gifs I have used so far..
And my largest gif was over the limit of 6KB (14.26 MB) so... what I said works just fine.
