Builders can buy from signs. Residents need more perks, too... And we don't need new players who don't know the economy messing it up. :/
i say they should at lest be able to buy from it cuz were just lavaing them out if theis really cool thing
Again, they can buy from shop signs... If they really, really want something from the market, they have a friend get it for them, or ask the seller if they are willing to sell directly and out of the market.
The simple truth, making the market inaccessible to builders encourages residency. My understanding is, and I may be wrong, that plans are in the works to allow builders to buy from, but not sell at, the market. I'd also like to point out that excluding builders from selling at the market is a good thing. See, I want to make a bunch of money selling cobble, but I don't want to go dig up a whole mountain. So, I hire a builder to go dig it up for me. I pay him a per-cobble price that's better than /sell price. He makes money quickly, so he can apply for residency, while I sell the cobble at an even higher price on the market. It's win-win, and it promotes a healthy job market (something that this server has been lacking).
