I would just like to say that I fully support this cause. I think a lot of res+ look down on builders and most of the time it is completely unnecessary. Feel free to send any builders being mistreated to me and I will do whatever I can to help :)

 

I think most of them are lazy. Let them be lazy. If they want resident they work for it. I am sick of builders begging and all. I personally think they should be making there own money. Whats the point of resident if you have the feeling you didn't work for it. Also I think that if they choose to beg so let it be

i would love to be a teacher. i can help them learn to make money by mining and all the commands that come with it. i can give some tools and food to some of the builders that are interested

 

They aren't lazy at all. I never see lazy builders. They just don't know what to do. They have no idea what "voting" is. They finally figure it out, and mess it up.

Without any money they're only bet is to walk through a wall of water and mine for a few hours, learn of the /sell command, and figure out where the forums are.

Whenever I see builders who know what to do, they get resident in two days max. When they don't know what to do, could take a few weeks.

I've seen builders stay builders for months, until they realize there are forums.


Unless it magically falls in place: Someone helps them, they find the (currently unfinished) tutorial. And read all the signs and read the wiki and the rules, then no, they aren't going to get resident, and people will think their lazy.

 

So you think begging isn't lazy. When I was a builder I just built things while figuring it out in one day. After days me and igorvanloo figured the stuff out. No begging at all

 

You know it's funny. The word "begging" or the concept of "begging" isn't in my post at all.

And not everyone learns the same way. I figured everything out on the first two/three days. I spent almost an hour and i read every sign on the tutorial area (it was a lot better back in my day then it is now).

It's not hard to make 15k so when I was a builder I saved my voting money and bought a pump ex and perms to a pump farm and the first day I ad over 35k in my bal so stop this and make a advisee association for builders i mean really this is just a computer game not a civil rights movement
