Minecraft Username: Avowin Brief Description: So I bought stock from Texas Instruments when they were 5% below what they are supposed to be. I spent about 40k on stocks for it because of them being down, and my net worth was 40k (because that is how much I put on my forum account) I come back today to see how stocks were, and they were above what the normal is. But, however, my net worth went down $365 dollars or so, which doesn't make any sense Instructions: Buy stock when it is low, and your money decreases while the stock increased How many times did you recreate this bug?: I only have 1 stock invested into so only once, but other mods have experienced the same thing (@3point14mp @xX3PICREBELXx) Result: Loss of money Expected Result: A gain in money Evidence: View attachment 810 This shows the value I bought them at and my money which decreased. If this isn't some sort of bug, I would like to know what happened
I haven't invested in any stocks yet, I just said it was a good idea to file a bug report, so I'm not really relevant to this for me needed to be tagged.
It probably hasnt updated, It wont update your net worth instantly as shares goe up and down, I would presume they update every few hours.
I believe net worth updates at the same time as the top portfolios which has been set to 5pm eastern, however your portfolio stocks update faster than that.
From my experience top portfolios updates a lot more regularly than once every day. I have seem mine change numerous times over the past few hours. Unfortunately I haven't watched it closely enough to be able to put an exact figure on it though.
