Minecraft Username: Slisper Brief Description: When using multiple different designs of a redstone clock on VMR, after about 30 seconds it gets broken by a sign saying "REDSTONE CLOCKS FORBIDDEN ON ECC". This is obviously not supposed to happen as they are allowed on VMR. Instructions: Build a redstone clock. I used 2 different designs for the testing here, both yielded the same result. Here are the 2 tested designs How many times did you recreate this?: 4 times. Result: The clock gets broken by signs. Expected Result: The clock to work like vanilla minecraft because VMR. Evidence:
Actually intentional; despite VMR being ‘Vanilla’ there are elements that must be in place to prevent server harm/massive lag, and although Redstone clocks actually can work on VMR (albeit slower than perhaps what you’d want and still prone to breakages), letting them run free would be an easy way to lag the server out.
This is intentional. We have the same redstone clock protection mechanisms on every single server across the entire network. We will never adjust these in any way on any server.
