Thank you for ruining my hope of living a bug-related life...this feeling was just degraded to a lag-related life.
Ok this is on the to do list of things to look into further and test. It may take a little bit so just be patient.
While I appreciate the sentiment, I think we can all agree that getting impatient for someone to repair one's defective imaginary public trampoline ... would be a little unreasonable.
And yet... a quick search thru the forum, even a quick scan of the shoutbox and general chat will provide untold examples of impatience
This is literally what happened to me before i got fly. I would jump on the ones at Spawn and i would literally get like... Rubber banded like i was in sg back to the Slime Block
I found this out many times (in my ECC froend's town trampoline, Lanscaster trampoline, Spawn trampoline) but my friend managed to bounce on them (but the spawn, we didn't do that one together). So I thought of it as as glitch on my computer...Anyways, now it's fixed..
Just tested with @idkhowtoplay and @ClarinetPhoenix and both confirm this is absolutely fixed. I've let the settings go just a tad more but thats as much as I'm doing. Let us know if my slightly altered settings fixed it for you, but if you continue to have issue, it is definitely you.
Ok I've determined that the higher you fly and the lower the trampoline the less our protection has to be. Jumps from 255 to 65 should work fine. Past that, I will not be adjusting protection. This is no longer a bug but simply a limitation I am unwilling to change.
I found out why it didn't work. Used the lancaster trampoline from 253 to 65, worked fine. Jumped up to 254 and fell down to 65, was thrown back. Same applies to any y coord higher than that. :3
This is not a necro! I wanted to report that some other change, relatively recent, seems to have made the trampoline operative again. Thought staff might like to be aware, because I can't imagine you were focused on trampolines. So I think this has recently become relevant again, and therefore this is not a necro. Thanks, guys! @JamieSinn @Nicit6
Trust me, I'm not complaining. I just figured that when a change to something else has an unintended consequence, you would want to know. Even if the unintended consequence is good.
