I think it's because it has other lore on it.

 

You can /own it, though if you do it will break the armors value as well as the words underneath it that says SG Boss Armor Chestplate/leggings/helmet/boots.

I've done it before a long while ago and had to have a staff member fix it. Though for in this situation, it looks as though to be some glitch if it was never /owned.

Try unlocking the armor, it may of been patched though.

This is because of the multi line lore that the armor has, causing it to incorrectly report it being owned. But you could own it initially because it had no data
