Can you trade ECD for bitcoins? I think that's considered ECD for irl things which is illegal.

 

well you can trade ECD for the bitcoin medal. You get it by sending something like .75 of a bitcoin to Andrew so it stays all within the sever which is allowed.

 

Well, you are not allowed to buy non ECC related items with ECD

*Update* It sounded like you wanted to buy bit coins, that would be illegal. But not buying features/medals, that is legal

 

Andrew can't know where the bit coins came from and if it was all done from ECD transaction.

 

And since bit coins are a currency, its absolute illegal. Then someone can actually make money selling Eco dollars to players with Bit Coins in trade wicht he can change to real money. And that would take donation money away from andrew.

 

Well @sick24 stated in Arsien's thread that he used a player to get the bitcoin medal and he paid him with ECD

Oh wait. If you wanted someone to send you bitcoins to your bank account, it would be illegal. But if a players donates for you in your name, it should be legal. Because then its just like a normal ECD-for feature thing.

This should be legal . He's not buying bitcoins, he is buying a donation of bit coins in his name to Andrew . It's the same as buying any other donation feature.

 

I already said that. It just sounded like he was buying coins since he said "donate bit coins to me", and that would be illegal. buying server features with ECD is allowed :)

 

No I believe andrew said it was fine before. I believe it's allowed if the one person sends the bitcoin a to andrew and then you pay the person.
