@Maco20047, I was hoping those 20x20 plots in the center could be where myself and my co-mayors could live. Maybe also my little brother, if he helps enough . But for anyone wanting to use the town layout, they could be used for anything including very expensive plots for sale. Because they are close to the town square, they would be very easy to access. I'm also thinking of adding a portal. Because my sister's town is right next to mine, I was hoping that people could use it for both towns, and any more towns to come. @nschliffka, I will think about building the farm underground, but the only problem is that 6/8 of the town is over water. Ty all for your praise.
Yeah, I tried to just make it up as I went along, while helping Abby_Temple, but her town has all of this empty space now with no way of getting to it without jumping over fences. That was a big lesson learnt. I can only hope that people now decide to plan ahead. It makes life very much easier.
If anyone's bored I need help. I'm starting to make the 2ox2o plots on one side. I've made them all but on the last one it's 21x20. I don't know what I did wrong. *EDIT* Nvm I worked out the problem.
@Miss_Anomaly Would I be able to use this for my President town? I currently have no purposes for it and needed a decent layout? Also, I can credit you with a sign or a small fountain or something to recognize it is your idea. Would this bother you?
Feel free to use it! Just credit me in some way and I'm happy! Make sure to show me the finished product! Btw I'm working on my town now and I completely forgot about the corner plots. I'm making them into parks, with possible a few features inside them, if you know where to look.
I love the clean layout. I also like the idea of using the corners for parks, but would recommend using a few of the 10x10s as well. 80 plots is a ton, and having the space broken up by a park or small decretive building will make the whole place feel nicer. If much of your town is over water then basements are going to be an issue, you will want to warn people, or just disallow basements. If you chose to disallow basements then building a farm down below is doable. I have done a number of farm layers through water and would be willing to help get you started.
Again, ty all for those wonderfully nice comments. But after careful review of my picture, I've realized that, when counting individual pixels, 4 of the plots are not quite right. I've edited the picture and I think I've got it perfect. Here it is! http://tinypic.com/r/2ntb502/8 Btw it might look exactly the same, but believe me it's not. If you want to know exactly what I did, I just moved a few paths over. 4 of the paths used to be 4 blocks wide now they are 3 blocks wide. But it's almost unnoticeable looking how it is right now, so don't think too much of it.
Is there anyway you can upload this file again but in a larger size with the grid lines showing? That way we can see this pixel by pixel
@lowndsy2011 I don't know of a way, but then again I don't know much about things like that. The only way that I do know of is using paint. Do you have paint?
You can make it larger with Paint, but doing so will make a single pixel into more. Resize it equally and it'll stretch in all directions, but the gridlines are a feature in Paint (well most painting programs), and I don't think you can save with them on. Truthfully it looks pretty clear to me as is. If someone wants to see it in more detail it's probably best to download it and open in their own paint program. Gridlines can be turned on/off at will, and zooming in/out at will will help define it without stretching the image at all.
