I completely agree with inamine. players who say they will sell donation features and then don't are not only scamming but are also false advertising and trolling.

Let's refrain from pointing fingers in this suggestion, everything is already in the complaints section, no need to bring it in here. You may give examples, but you may not point fingers.

There needs to be some way for those who have been scammed to recover their items. Otherwise, the scammers will be banned but will carry away our stuff with them.

AND it keeps on going on. this should be a rule that is retroactive.
EDITED: Edited to avoid pointing fingers. The original post was meant to show this is a currently ongoing problem that occurs on a near daily basis.

domz1993 and Inamine refrain from posting links from complaints and such in here. I'll give out forum warnings if this continues. This is a suggestion, not a place to point fingers at people

Okay. I was using it as proof of this being a problem that actually happen but I will edit out the link. I did not mean to point out the user, but just the situation that was occurring.

Awesome, great job encouraging people not to play here because they get temporarily banned for accidents.

No, he's encouraging people not to scam people, if you're selling features or doing other large transactions you should be completely sure it will work before you start trying to sell it. Not getting people banned for accidents. Accidents rarely happen in these situations.

I was not referring to features, I was referring to things such as e-repairs when someone had to go take care of something, eff7 loans, msword loans, etc., things where something could actually BE forgotten. With donations these days, it's nearly impossible to forget to buy it for someone after they pay you.

So? You end up turning it right back around and really, if I were to scam someone and then get scammed by them, I would only feel more encouraged to scam someone else because I'm mad, or attempt to scam that player again.

    Read two posts above.
And even with donations this is possible, such as they take the payment and have to get off right away because of some other influence, perhaps a family member got injured, a fire, etc. etc. etc..

How can someone forget to do something if they're in the middle of an erep?
You get the item, repair it, and return it. Simple as that. You don't get a huge chance to 'forget' to return an item.

How often are you going to be in a house fire while playing Minecraft? Those are EXTREME cases and doubt that has ever legitimately happened to anyone. When selling donation features you click the purchase button right when you see the payment. Simple as that.

I see no response to my other things. I'd already thought the e-repair through, and it is possible. I have a horrible memory. I was once asked to do something, and 10 seconds later I'd forgotten what it was. Although that wouldn't likely happen to me in ECC as I'm nearly always focused on what I'm doing on ECC when I'm on it, and if I were doing an e-repair the sight of a tool I don't own would likely jog my memory. The e-repair part was a very extreme circumstance.
Yes, it is an extreme case, but really, think about it. It is possible. Just because it likely hasn't happen legitimately to anyone yet, think about it. If you hear that your mother, father, sister, brother, etc. has been shot or otherwise, do YOU respond by clicking a button? No, you go straight to the hospital.

Also, if anyone feels I'm acting hostile please tell me so I can go cool off and come back with a (hopefully) clear head. I do not intend to act hostile.
