Have you changed your Minecraft username since being banned? If so, what is your previous name?:no
Which of ECC's services are you banned on? Main Server
Reason of Ban: Major Crop Grief, multiaccounting
Rule violated:
Crop griefing
- Multiple accounts used by different people on the same internet connection/IP are allowed.
- An individual person playing on multiple accounts is allowed so long as no financial benefits arise from doing so. There must be absolutely no financial interaction between multiple accounts that you own.
- If there are multiple accounts on the same internet connection/IP, either used by you or others, you must contact a member of staff immediately to inform them.
- Users may be questioned for being on the same internet connection, or, in cases of suspicious activity and bans, immediately banned regardless of the reason for the same connection, to be appealed with an explanation.
Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: No financial gain can arise from having two accounts on the same IP. Replant crops after you harvest them.
Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I did not know about this particular rule about account sharing.I did not intend to grief crops. I was going to replant after harvesting but i was accused of crop griefing and was afraid i would be killed and would lose my stuff. I tried to pay them the money i had made off of the crops as collateral while I replanted, but they didn't want it and threatened me to not come back. They rold me that they were submitting a ban appeal. Because I knew i was going to be banned I gave my cash to bradglock, who is my brother. He doesn't know that I gave it to him and isn't responsible. I hope that may be unbanned so that I may fix what I have done. If I am not to be unbanned please unban my brother bradglock since he had nothing to do with this.

I did not know that using multiple accounts for monetary gain was illegal. Knowing this now, I won't do it again. -
@glockboy
Thank you for clearing that up.
While it may seem ideal for you to transfer money back and forth between your accounts, it's highly illegal. That being said, if you're caught doing it whether it be via the logs or just being reported, it's technically a bannable offense. I truly hope you will take this as a learning lesson, and move on from it. Both you and your brother are more than welcome to continue playing here on ECC, although are not allowed to transfer any economic currency between each other. That being said, if it happens again the punishment will be no where this lenient.
On top of that, you should know that griefing is not at all tolerated here on ECC as well. We have very strict rules regarding grief, and especially when it comes to grief in any type of protected region. The purpose for our town systems are for users to claim their own peace of land with the mindset of keeping their builds/structures free of grief. That being said, any sort of grief deemed by the current town mayors/co-mayors will be punishable. It's always important to be sure you have permission before you actually begin placing/breaking blocks in any regions.
Furthermore, seeing as you've explained the situation and have a decent understanding of this rule I will be reducing your ban to a temp. Please know that this behavior between your two accounts is and will not be tolerated at all. During the extent of your temp, I'd like you to spend some time reviewing the server rules which can be found here. Moreover, you can look specifically at the rules you broke.
Other than that, I will be issuing you a 24 hour temp for your major grief and a 24 hour temp for your transfer of money between accounts. Never the less, I look forward to seeing you in game soon. I truly hope issues similar to these don't persist. Welcome back!
Locked -- User issued 2 day temp
