[Ban Appeal] THCOOL

For the sake of comparison, I'll use some the red flags I posted in the other appeal.

My red flags:
1. Knowing about the signs, but not attempting to stop it as a moderator. -Addressed and given a sufficient explanation
2. The almost-picturesque presence in the beginning of the video -Addressed and explained
3. Instances of brushing the issue off, saying it's "no big deal" or "it's not hurting anyone" - Addressed in the first lines of the appeal

You've addressed almost every scenario that could possibly say you were conspiring with obble. Not only that, you appear to be quite genuine with the apology, and set a plan for how to fix your reputation a bit. I think the demotion did the damage and you should be allowed back.

You seem innocent, but you made your mistakes, and hey, we all make mistakes.

Unlike fury, I don't think you deserve a permaban. I think a demotion and a short temp will be fair

As stated in a skype chat,

Obble says that fury was given a loan funded (partially) by my money, he was then instructed to not pay it back, what do you know about this, including:
were you involved?
did Fury actually receive these instructions?

In addition, you are in 4.5 mil of debt.

that equates to roughly 450 hours of work. (as you dont own a star tool).

How in heck do you plan to pay this off?

 

they should un wipe ur account if possible imo you seem super innocent to me and an account wipe is just unfair imo

 

Actually, one more question. What made you think that the use of the n-word was OK?

Andrewkm committed the funds he seized from Obblebobble to repay the victims of Obblebobble's scams. I don't see why he couldn't do you same with the money from @THCOOL 's account. That is unless the account wipe is seen as "part of the punishment."


Few more questions:

• How many investors are (and how much money is) currently eligible to withdraw according to the terms of their contracts?
• Will you dissolve the waiting period and repay as soon as possible?
• Would you continue your portion of the business under a new name, if investors are willing to remain?

 

he was honest, he didn't commit any drammatic crime (apart from swearing but that isn't a bannable offense at all) so i want him back

I think you should be allowed back on right away but there's no way you can keep your staff rank.

 

I appreciate your honesty. You not being let back into the community would d0 more harm than good considering your debts and the investor money. Hope to see you back on the server soon

 

The first thing you did when you heard you got banned (in the same skype group I took the screenshots from in fury's appeal) was laugh your ass off, and promptly insult a bunch of the staffmembers in that group for allegedly leaking. And then laughing about the burned pick and the scam.

I have no real reason to hate fury, as I have seen no solid evidence proving, or at least heavily implying, that he as involved in this whole leaking, scamming, stealing situation. You, on the other hand, have personally made it so I know that you are guilty.

Please stay banned. You're no better than Obble. You don't belong here.

PS: No screenshots this time, I can't take screenshots without them having personally identifiable information in them. Considering thcool's skype name is his real name. I don't want to post something that will get deleted.
