    I was banned in July 2013, so back then my username was "shadeslou"

    Section 4, Clause 1.2: Advertising

    Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:
    Don't advertise, which more specifically means to not draw attention to brands/servers in order to promote yourself.

    Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned:
    It has been so long since the ban (two years), and unfortunately I can't remember much about the community I was once previously part of. I deeply regret advertising whatever it happened to be on this server back then, and do hope that I can once again join the community.

    Hello @sijodese, thank you for filing an appeal. As you should know, advertising is a serious offense on our server as it draws attention from our community. Saying the name, website, as well as the IP of a different server are defined as advertising. As you have been off for so long, I will only be giving you a 3 hour temp-ban. During this time, I would re-read our server rules as they have changed since you've last been on. Hope to see you on the server soon.
