* Loan Scamming (Averagejoe2012) 350,000 ecd **

** Averagejoe2012 has given me a loan that I will also need to pay off. As it is not part of my ban reason I would like it to be dealt with last.

  • A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe.
  • Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:

This rule states that is against the rules of this server to intentionally scam another user of an item or good. Failing to uphold your end of the bargain can and will be punished by a ban or other punishment if not dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned:

I feel I should be unbanned for my actions because I am willing to conform to the terms and rules of this server, and I feel as if I deserve another chance. My previous actions were immature, childish, and very unintelligent.

I understand that my actions are against the rules and people with my kind of behavior are very destructive to the economy and community ECC are trying to build. However, I do believe I deserve another chance to make my previous mistakes right as it is not fair for these players to be denied the items and ECD that they rightfully deserve.

I feel like I belong in ECC, and after my hiatus I have realized how much this server and the people that populate it mean to me. I want to rejoin this community with a new attitude towards others and their property.

If I am unbanned from this server I plan on repaying Jmillertime and Phantomine within 24 hours of the reversal of the ban through selling donation features. However, I will need an extended amount of time to pay back the amount that I owe Matrix_Rep if I am unbanned. Matrix_Rep has previously agreed to reverse his report if I am unbanned and agree to a set payment plan in which there will be strict guidelines that if not followed will lead to an immediate re-report of my item scamming infraction.

In closing, I know this is my second offence in this matter, and I know the seriousness of my infractions of the rules; but I do believe that I can change and make ECC a more positive and understanding place.

With other loans also needed to be taken care of I will need more time for your loan matrix. I've added Averagejoe's complaint to my appeal as well. Number amounts have been updated. Thanks.

 

I refuse to pay any extra on that 350k loan. If you have a problem with that please file another complaint.

 

I won't be paying any extra unless required by a moderator that will be handling this case. Everyone please refrain from posting any more until a decision is made.
