First off, let me thank you for putting a fair amount of detail into your ban appeal as it does help me fill in some details into the story. Since, you seem to be confused what "AFK auto-fishing" is, I will detail it so you can be clear on it. When a user is suspected of using AFK (away from keyboard) auto-fishing, the staff team conducts a number of tests to see if it is truly what we suspect. Our first test turned out positive for auto-fishing mod. We know this because literally the second the bobber dropped below the water, the computer reeled it and shot it back out in a few milliseconds; something that is very unlikely for any player let alone a child who may have under-developed motor skills.
Another test we conducted was the AFK test to see if the player was truly AFK. I had messaged rlmiller two times saying "Hello, are you here?" and after no response was received from either message in a substantial amount of time, we continued onto the second AFK test. This consists of force teleporting the player to a different spot. Under normal playing circumstances, if any player that is at their keyboard moved without any input on their end, we would expect some reaction (head turn, distance walked) from them. We force tp'ed the player two different times, both without any sort of reaction from the player. Let alone, during both of the tp's, the player continued to auto-finish, no stopping or anything.
As you can see, that is what we define as AFK auto-fishing and how we test for it.

Now then, unfortunately that when rlmiller signed onto ECC, he agreed to abide by all of our server rules, and as listed here, auto-fishing is prohibited on ECC since it gives users of it a very big advantage. Which is why, after we conducted our tests, we had to ban him as he had an unfair advantage, and in a "hardcore economy," the staff team does its best job to level the playing field.

The good news is, is that there is a possibility that the account can be unbanned. To do so, I will need to see a screenshot of your .minecraft mods folder and a screenshot of your in-game playing screen. To access the mods folder, follow the directions here to get to your minecraft folder. In there, there should be a folder named "mods," open that and screenshot it. If you need help taking a screenshot and uploading it, we have a tutorial here. Also in that tutorial, it lists how to take screenshots in game, which is another picture I require. Sick I would just like to point out that he could have just kept clicking as if he was fishing and not really cared whether he moved or not. Additionally as said above the brother can't write or read so he probably didn't realize that you were talking to him as he probably doesn't pay attention to the chat. Sorry if this was.not needed but I have known and worked with kids with autism since second grade so I thought that I could possibly provide some insight. Additionally if the kids are to young to read and type I doubt they could have found the hacks much less download and install them.
