Cheating is not tolerated.
Cheating in any form is not allowed. Anything that would give you an unfair advantage over other players is considered cheating. This can include client mods to generate items/money easier or faster than otherwise possible, abusing server bugs or using alts/friends to "boost" kills in SG.

These rules do not apply on the VMR server. "Cheating" is legal there.​

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:

The rules mean that I am not allowed to 'cheat' or in other words do anything that others cannot do. I am also not allowed to used hacked clients. I cannot use bugs/glitches and should report them to the server if I find any. Also I am not allowed to boost my account by using different accounts.​

Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned/un-muted:

I do have a modded client, but I only use Opti-Fine 1.15.2, which I believe I asked before on the server if it is allowed. I also have my gamma adjusted so that I have max brightness.
I think I might've been banned because of my macro (which I am unaware if it is against the rules). I thought they were allowed since I see people asking about auto-clicker and stuff in chat all the time. My mouse software also allows me to lower my debounce time which allows me to 'click faster' which I figured is allowed since its just a personal mouse setting.
I got kicked from the server a handful of times (anti-cheat), but I always thought it was due to bad ping. (The server kind of freezes, but I can still move around. But when I try to place stuff it places and then disappears instantly. After a while I get kicked and I just wait 5 seconds before joining back and everything's back to normal.)
I understand that I just assumed most of the stuff were allowed and since they were not clear in the rules I should have asked the staff before using my macros or about my adjusted mouse settings.
Although I was not using my macro to 'make money faster' (I was just using it to fill in holes with dirt - like a spam click) I see that it could be seen as an unfair advantage since other users may not have the option to tweak their mouse.
If I am given another chance, I will not use macros or adjusted mouse settings without consulting a mod or staff first.

Edit: I will also stop using OptiFine and switch to a vanilla version if that is needed.​

 

I am not nearly as fast as the users with the fly feature, I've seen them with speed, I cannot keep up with them. If the server or something says I was going speed 10 or whatever, then I am to believe that is an error or had something to due with lag, such as server freezing on my end and then everything speeding back up or ending with me getting kicked.
I do however, probably run faster than most people since I use a weird method of running (which might be considered a bug/glitch). I thought it was allowed since it is not server specific and more of a built in game thing, instead of running straight, I do a sort of half strafe/sprint thing and looking in a different direction than I am actually moving.
