This is my second appeal. At the bottom is an update for the reasoning behind a bypass on my IP address.

Banned by an Operator. (Due to scamming and falsification.)

Clause 2 - Scamming
A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe.
Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion.

Clause 2.2 - Attempted Scamming
Users cannot attempt to scam other users. If enough evidence is provided and the staff believe a scam was intended, this will result in a temporary ban against the offending user.
Attempted scamming includes misleading sales or auctions. For example an auction for 'a melon,sword'.



Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:

Falling under the Clause 2.2 of Scamming, Scamming is not allowed in any way shape or form. Any forms of manipulation or tactical confusion within a trade is forbidden. Exchanging items and not following up with the deal can and will result in consequences determined by the severity of the act. Further... Lying about the act to cover up ones tracks will result in a ban and a questionable sense of morals. It is not fair to other players who are playing the game legitimately (from newcomers to long term staff personal) if you scam your way through the game's economy. The economy, staff, rules, and disciplines are in place to allow Ecocitycraft to remain as a friendly, honest, legitimate minecraft server. To remain playing on this server you must respect ALL other players who are concurrently enjoying their time on the server.

Scamming: being a way to cut down hard work and/or time to achieve a higher level or entitlement, pride, or another means of personal benefit will simply result in the player to not be allowed to play anymore. Trying to find a way to bypass these rules will also result in severe consequences. The server has logs and WILL find the culprit who feels that they can ''get away with anything'' even if no direct screen shots are taken. The staff know how this server works so don't even try it.

Here it is.

My previous posts and appeals were absolute sad accuses for remorse and I am ashamed.

I messed up. I was a child performing insecure acts of scamming towards other players that I thought I could take advantage of. I had the mindset that I was all high and mighty and that if I covered my tracks well enough that I would never be caught. In the end what was I? A simple loser who caused havoc for others and was responsible for his own demise.

Before I go any further I must directly apologize to those who I know I was a burden to all those months ago.

1. First and foremost you Andrewkm – I was foolish and cowardly and had no understanding of how intelligent servers like Ecocitycraft were actually run. I lied and attempted to manipulate you and others on the basis of my Ego at the time. I took advantage of the opportunities that were so gracefully given to me and squashed them which turned me into nothing more then a low-life.

2. josh_woot: Josh my cousin, you were banned under the assumption that I was using your account to bypass my ban. Also you were at times on the same IP address as me which therefore led to you being banned. You did NOTHING wrong and although I now understand the policies of this server I take full responsibility for the injustice on my end as this was all my fault. I apologize that you had to suffer through this because I made some absurd choices on this server.



3. Even though the following names (and ANY that may have been missed) listed had their complaints dismissed I feel that I cannot leave them out of this equation either. For the troubles and heartache I caused you all I apologize. You should not have had to deal with me, and the justice that I received was very well worth it. You deserved better from me and at the time I ruined it for you.

Some may look at these offenses and call them big or small but it does not matter to me. An offense is an offense and I deserved to be punished. Again sorry to you all.


I have always thought of this server as something I always used to fall back too. Indeed similarities exist between servers, but its either something to do with this community or structure that makes it so hard to forget about. I have no issue stating my offenses and I DO feel remorse for performing them. Not only did I affect others on this server who I did not know, but even some who were close to me.

I have grown out of a time and into a new one where I now feel like I can perceive the social hints and feelings of the others players. Don't get me wrong, I had a conscience before, but I never took things like this seriously. It fathoms me how people don't realize what they have missed until it is gone.

Please do not treat this as all filler but instead as a genuine ban appeal from one who made a mistake. I have learned what I can from how I have affected people and now know that I have changed.

3 Main points:

-I do have brothers and sisters and sometimes friends/cousins who play on my IP address and I will let staff know this next time.

- I will not attempt to scam another person for laughs or fulfilling feelings, because I know I will not get away with it.

- I will NOT EVEN DREAM about lying to a staff member about sensitive and/or any info that may cause a disruption or chaos in the community EVER again.

I did not bypass on josh_woot's account and in this case I take the responsibility for him being banned because of simply being on the same IP as me. I ask you humbly to consider lifting this ban so that I, my cousin, and my younger siblings may be able to play once again.

UPDATE
2015-07-17


On 2015-07-17, The account Inlusive was banned for bypassing which resulted in my ban appeal being denied. Inlusive was an alt account that ((I)) owned but gave to my brother to play on a while ago. It is an account that means nothing to me and has only caused further implications. Even though I said in the ban appeal that I had other family members playing on my IP, I should have waited until the ban appeal was accepted before allowing anyone or anything from entering the server from my IP.

(((( I didn't make this appeal as a joke and I take it seriously. I put a lot of effort into it and still strive for the day that it might be accepted.))))

I pains me that after so long, I got so bloody close to possibly getting unbanned only to sink back down again. I must remain aware that the appeal process takes time and that nothing must get in the way. I am willing to accept any additional punishments that arise from this additional incident.
----I have come to the point where I have tried to learn everything from my past mistakes on this server and I am Begging for a second chance.


---If the definite conclusion ever comes to let me go from this server I ask of one thing (if I am even allowed to ask). To unban my cousin josh_woot. I have done this entire appeal in the hopes of getting the both of us back, and was his only gateway back onto this server. Yes at the time we didn't tell a Mod that multiple accounts were on an IP, but please if anything make an exception to his account as he deserves some amount of justice.---
