[Ban Appeal] FuryFudge

I'm starting to see a pattern here. I mean clearly in those screenshots, the chat looks acted out. Fury even said that he and obble were skyping, which would make it so that they can discuss what to type in chat to make it look as if what happened.
This is truly ridiculous. I'm starting to have no remorse for fury or obble.

Naw, just don't trust someone who could potentially cause you harm. Which to be fair is much of the internet, but not all of it.

 

It's literally almost as if fury and obble new the consequences, so they acted out random stuff in chat to make it seem like fury is innocent. This is seriously an outrage, as it seems like fury has NO REMORSE whatsoever! My mind has been changed, and I feel no remorse AT ALL FOR FURY AND OBBLE.

 

I found the chat suspicious too, but thanks for pointing that out BlackCod, yes, I doubt furys legit, and he probably regrets that now, but I think he should have a second chance (a very looooong temp)

I'd just had enough of all the bullshit going on and why sit around trying to repay people if you've had enough. It was amusing to make a video yeah, I knew I'd cop shit for it but that doesn't matter because I left.

Goodluck to thcool + fury when dealing with that shit but they understand.

I would've repaid investors before leaving if I had the spare 10m on me. I didn't. But oh well, hopefully people will learn to 1. read contracts and go over them and 2. only pay their money to people they can practically trust with their life, it's online, I had good intentions but shit happens and there's essentially no penalty (besides bans + morals) for just leaving with unsettled debt.

@FuryFudge , you were my favorite staff member. You were very kind and you were helpful to those in need of it. It saddens me to see that you are no longer a staff member, and even more banned. I really hope that you are able to come back onto ECC and that everyone can move on from this. If all of you guys were to put yourselves in their situation, you wouldn't wanna be beaten down like how most of you all are doing to him right now. He made a mistake and he is remorseful enough to comeback and file a ban appeal, knowing that people will be harassing and/or yelling at him for what he did. He's sorry and knowing him he wouldn't doing again. That's enough for me to know that I want him back on ECC.

 

Neither of them are innocent. Neither of them should be unbanned.

 

I'm torn here. I want to believe that you should return to the server, but I am very unsure.

There is much proof here that shows terrible moderating, and the Matrix pickaxe situation makes you seem cold, heartless, and frankly idiotic for not thinking to say anything whether it be a report on Obble or at least telling him "Well we better work on fixing that". He lost his pickaxe and you didn't give a single damn, which I see as not only being a horrid moderator but player in general.

I'm unsure. Banning does not solve anything, and I'm sure if Fury is unbanned he will be watched like a hawk for a long time, so I don't see anything further happening from him in the foreseeable future. However, there is proof of his terrible moderating and not bothering to talk with Obble about the lost pickaxe (not even a "what happened?"). That and the staff chat are really the only things I can see complete proof of him being guilty of, which is still despicable. As such, I have no opinion here. I don't care if Fury comes back, I don't care if he doesn't, I don't care.

 

The kid doesn't deserve to be banned forever I think everyone needs to relax a bit. Let Andrew give him a nice long temp ban and the rest will be history.

 

Something as offensive as this can't just be forgotten. Sure over time people might forget it, but this is no joke. Also Andrew wants to see what the community has to say, talk about democracy, and his actions will be affected by the community, and by his own thoughts.

I disagree. If obble had used them, then obble wouldn't give two craps about them getting banned. The pure fact that fury knew about matrix eff7 scam just proves fury and Obble's immaturity, getting revenge by destroying something of value.

Ya I dont understand why fury did nothing when obble said he lost the eff7. I don't think fury should ever be allowed back on staff. For thcool I don't see how he is anyway involved.

I, like the rest of the community, can't possibly know the entire truth as that lies with you and obble, but there are a few things that I would like to say on your behavior. As a staff member you know how important it is to keep staff business within staff and to treat your friends just like any other person on ecc when there are rules being broken. I know this can be hard but it is your responsibility as a staff member to do so. Knowing about what those signs said and not reporting to another staff member right away to check out was a huge no no. Also, the way you spoke about the victim who lost the pick was very unprofessional. Staff need to maintain a level of professionalism at all times when in game and on the forums. The community looks up to them and acting like this marks the entire team as a whole. Not only did your actions harm others in the community but your fellow staff members as well.

As for you having your ban lifted I feel that you should be allowed back but not on staff for a long time. I hope you have learned from all of this and will also choose your friends more wisely.

Personally. I've decided to not have any opinion on this matter as Fury's involvement is shady at best, there is little to no information to back up either side of the argument, and it's extremely hard to make an informed decision based on this situation.

Realistically, there's not a ton that is going on here that can be irrefutably called "illegal".

 

All he says is "Rip eff 7". He says this after obblebobble tells him its gone. Unless I'm missing something their is nothing that proves he knew about the pick being burned.

 

I think fury should be allowed back after a long temp and never allowed on staff again due to trust being broken. Also anyone else getting a wolf of Wall Street vibe from this entire situation ?
