I pretty much gave up at 5k, and then just bought 10k for 10 USD, which I could have sold for 20-40k at the time. :3
Where to start? 1.) Not bothering to pay attention to anything in the tutorial area and not knowing what I'm doing for like a week 2.) Spending a ton of money and building a cool, seaside house in the wild 3.) buying a ton of gold ingots and making gold tools that lasted like 30 minutes 4.) buying more stuff and building a floating farm (or "chinampa" as I call it) and a dock 5.) Not knowing that you could /sell and using voting as my primary form of profit 6.) building a moat outside my wild house to keep all dem griefers out 7.) buying a ton of TNT to assist in my moat building only for it not to work 8.) Taking a month to save up 1.5k to buy a plot from jwpwns
I went to Wallstreet and randomly clicked donation signs no knowing what they were until I realized I lost all my money.
Guys I have the worst one. I tried to buy a silk touch 2 diamond pickaxe for 10k and lost the money...no screenshots, or didn't remember his name. Silk touch 2. Ugh.
Nobody can beat this one. When I bought my first plot, I thought Resident meant ACTUAL resident so I typed in random crap hoping my nametag was shiny and green. I pmed a Mod saying that I bought a plot and I should become Resident now. She said, you have to pay 15k. I cried for like, 3 hours and ragequit. Also, when i got my first 1k I thought I was the coolest person ever, so I spammed my town saying I was the richest person on ECC. FAIL
The worst was when i got hired to clear some land. I tried to clear the dirt with my arms (no shovel) and the stone with stone pickaxes because i thought the iron/diamonds were expensive. Took an hour to get 1/10 of the 50 x 50 x 1-10 land .
My biggest fail was when i started, i was just wandering around the mining world confused because i didnt know there was a protected area around the portal. So i kept getting mad and punched a piece of dirt for about a half hour....... XD XD XD XD XD

I went into a pvp arena with all my stuff and died in 5 minutes. I was confused about why all my stuff was gone and then I facepalmed after realizing how pvp worked.
I paid attention to chat, so I knew pretty much everything about the server after an hour. I'm having a hard time thinking of any fails... I paid 1k for a skele spawner that you could hear from the build's teleport, then thought "Oh, I'll remember the build's number" and then forgot it. Um... Oh yeah. I wasted like 5k enchanting books to sell. I always bought the cheapest xp, but still. Some of you may remember me yelling in chat about how idiotic I was being while I was still doing it.
Having over 30k and not buying resident What did i do? Buy 40k dirt :| For a mayors town; who eventually never got mayor
now, i remember a president pmed me about something and i called that person a dude to then find out she was a girl.
