I guess my biggest fail was being a money hoarder and being to tight to buy resident forever.. :p Kinda like now..Im a mayor and could have been a President 10 times over :p

 

I joined a town called italia, the rule was that I could not be offline for more thann 7days or else I will get my plots removed. And then, I forgot the rules, and one day I spawned at my home plot and realized that it wasn't mine, The mayor said I was offline for 8 days.

 

My biggest "fail" was when I crafted my own anvil from my own iron. I had never used enchanted stuff in single player and was looking forward to trying it out. I read up on how to make an anvil. I then built up an iron supply to make blocks and set a night to test out this "enchanting" thing. I crafted the anvil and when I placed it, it wouldn't place. I was so confused. I asked in Global chat why I couldn't place it, and was told it was a donation feature. I figure it was like water, where I couldn't place it, but I could use one that was placed. I then asked/paid for someone to place it and after they left I still couldn't use it. I asked in Global chat and they said it was a donation feature to also use an anvil. I was so heartbroken. All that iron wasted with no way to reclaim it.

Wasted.... sigh... I was so depressed for days. I think I just sat there looking at my screen for a good 5 minutes not moving thinking "What have I done? All that iron wasted. What am I going to do now?"

It still hurts to think about it.

 

1st fail- Thinking that the "L" from Local meant Leader.. (I was in a town at that time and I felt pretty special XD)
2nd fail- I thought Wc meant Who cares? I then found out what it meant 5 days later.. :x

I wish they would let everybody be able to place water and lava and anvils without having to pay their money to this server. Its ridiculous.

 

No its business and keeps the server running.

 

They have advertisements. Charging money for that probably isn't the key income.

Ads don't get them money. Donations do. I like how you have to pay for water/pyro/ect. because it gives the hard workers an advantage.

I like several other have not spent a dime on this server. I have however made the money I needed to get fly, tp, and miq for my friend at a 5k-5.5k per USD rate. Although people that pay money for this server have an advantage, anyone can get donation feautures.

 

Then why don't andrewkm make it so that if you are resident rank you get water/lava placement for free, and make it so that in order to be resident you need 20k? 15k + 5k -20k.

 

its 5k per usd which is 5k per DOLLAR. Also I have water, multihome and tp and I havent donated my own money. If you work hard you can get donation features. The server's main income is donation features. So many people buy them they have to be updated every 48 hours at least. I think you are just angry your mom wont let you donate.

 

didnt know i could lock chest and i placed a chest with all my prot 3 gear and lost it within 10 minutes(my house was close to spawn)
