Buying 8 10x10 plots to build on then resell only to be told by epislen that I cannot resell them... Then I worked hard and
managed to get resident the next day.

My biggest fail was purchasing resident

 

I tryied building a house 100 blocks in the air in the wild to prevent griefe. Unfortunately I didn't know how to shift so as to not fall when close to the edge of a block. I probably fell to my death over 500 times building this house only to have it briefed-_________-

 

Lol i knew nothing about the server, only that they had hunger games. I only played on the hunger games servers:p then i just got curious and saw cbill101 selling plots, so I bought one and learned more about ecc. I already posted my fail earlier on this thread but i had a diamond sword and well look at my earlier post:p

 

If I remember rightly, I had a craze for mining. I went out and spent around 10k on a pickaxe that I worked all day for, only to fall in lava a few minutes later. I think I rage quit the server that day.

This story in bearing in mind the day I bought minecraft the first thing I did was player ECC, no single player at all.

I also spent a considerable amount of time trying to construct a melon farm for food. I'd try various techniques to plant seeds and it would not work. I then walked around and looked at the nearby melon farm and was like: How on Earth did he get his dirt to look like that. I asked in global and a mod answered a hoe.
So there's me laughing away that I was finally able to do it. Little did I know it required light and the only light I had was that coming from a 1 block hole that was the entrance. So I am there, planting seeds, and they are popping out.
I think after that point I got angry and decided to use the public one. I never did finish that melon farm, because by the time I found out that you needed light, I didn't know that you were only allowed one /sethome, thus I accidentally deleted that one.

Silly void.

I dug a giant hole under my home, so when I teleported out, I fell again and again

 

Making a hotel is the wild right beside a portal to the wild (oldies will know what I'm talking about) and then raging so hard when it got greifed :D

 

This is literally exactly what i did as a builder too :D

 

As builder I won the 10th crazy lotto with one ticket (196k) and the next day decided to start playing the lotto a lot more, I bought 60 tickets in a lotto and lost to a one ticketer.

Just...really really slowly...so it's still rather a fail.

Like only carrying around one block per slot in your inventory. It still works, just very very slowly.

 

no, but i still tried. i later found out you could farm wheat without water :D

 

I made a 6-block pumpkin farm hoping to get me rich. (Pumpkins were $3 each back then).

I remember when i had played when they had the build worlds on the four corners of spawn and there was this guy who i worked for and all i got was 10 a fish and then after 10 days of working for him i realised i was getting less money then selling to server

 

Rage quitting after losing 1k in the lotto.

Also why isnt this in the Res+ Section?
