To get Co-Mayor you need to be the highest rank in a job tier. For example, you must be a Senior Farmer or Ore Miner. After that, if I feel the need for Co-Mayors, I'll ask you about it, and if you desire to become one I will add you. Oh, when you asked me in-game I thought you were talking about server market stalls, my bad xD. We're currently sold out completely of shop stalls, though I can add you tot he waitlist if you'd like.
Falconaire a general question, how does one become a head farmer, miner, etc? It says to apply on the "Leadership Application Thread"...
The Leadership thread was replaced some time ago, it was way before your time xD. The current way to get Head Miner/Farmer is to become the highest tier of a job rank (Senior Farmer for example), and then talk to me in-game about getting a promotion. By the way, the Head Miner position is about to open up. Keep your eyes open!

I can personally vouch for Falconaire: Aquila is not the largest town out on ECC, but it certainly is among the most friendly and most unique. In my nearing 5 months on ECC, I have not found a single medieval town besides Aquila. Despite Falcon's mod duties, he manages to continue to maintain this town to prevent it from ever going inactive. I myself may be selling my medium home soon as I am upgrading to a custom house, so I will let Falconaire give that one away to someone on the waitlist in a bit. If you can, at least get on the waitlist because people go inactive for 7+ days quite often. Best of all: Enjoy the friendly environment and make a living on ECC!!! (as a side note, I have never seen a grief report filed nor have I filed a report in Aquila. It is almost 100% safe.)
Join the waitlist, however I'm not sure how many people are on. I'm sure you can probably get a house pretty quickly. (Maybe a week or two, depending on how often Falcon does lwc.
