    Reason: Minor Grief in Bastion
Counter-Reason: I have come to the conclusion I was banned for breaking into the house of iStomp_Kittens and stealing his horse, which was considered grief. While apparently you consider this so, I consider griefing to be the destruction of property or a build, and leaving it that way. I did not leave anything in his build destroyed, modified, or edited, but instead rebuilt anything I did, repaired anything that may have been considered destructive, and so on. My act does not match the examples or variations of the examples listed upon the Minecraft wiki page (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Griefing), and so should not truly be considered griefing. There may be rules about griefing, but I saw none about breaking and entering, which after I looked through the forum, was the reason given for my ban. I duly apologize if my information is incorrect, and will gladly accept my ban if an article in the rules about breaking and entering is brought to my attention.

    Hello,

First and foremost the definition of grief on the server may not line up exactly with the definition of grief on the MineCraft Wiki. Now, the way ECC goes about grief is that it is the breaking or adding of blocks in a location where you are not legally allowed to place or break blocks. This includes a house you don't own, a farm, etc. This also includes using a public farm and not replanting. Grief cases are left up to SuperMod+'s discretion.

That being said, myself and the other SuperMods+ agree that breaking into another person's home, for the intention of theft, which you yourself admitted to, is illegal and is in fact grief. Our grief rule by the way is found here:

That all being said, I would suggest you refile your ban appeal. In the new ban appeal, I would suggest you continue with the same honesty, except, this time I hope you understand that the server does no approve of this type of action. I cannot, as it stands, unban you and be sure that you will not repeat the actions you took previously. Thank you and feel free to reappeal.
