• What makes ECC different/similar to the real world? Typically you save up for more tools to help you move up to higher profiting jobs, and you can buy/rent land from others to help you make money.

• Explain the structure of ECC (if its a pyramid, or hierachy etc.) A lot of the time, the donors/rich people have a lot more power over the poorer people.

• What makes ECC different/similar to the real world?

Ecc is the same because you can interact and create a relationship with other at a deep and personal level. Sometimes you can get mad and then make up kinda like the real world when you are friends with others you can also be mean and rude to others who you feal are jerks.

Ecc is different because you dont get the feal and sound of the others voice and you cant really tell if they are telling the truth or not. In ecc you can also get the feal of you are higher level of famous like that more people respect you on ecc then the real world

The community withing Ecc works similer to the real world. Like in the real world you can chose to act different to some people compared to how you act to other. You can be mean to some and be nice to others.In the real world sometimes your lies can be seen threw where as on Ecc they cant tell if you are lying cause there isnt any physical movements to indicate that you are lying or not.

Ecc is like a social structure the more people know you the more they will respect you and the higher rank you are the more the people think they can trust you and they look up to you this is kinda like the egyptian's way of life, there was a social structure. If you were higher up you were more respected.

I think of Ecc as an escape route from the real world if i have bad days in the real world i can go on Ecc and end cheered up because of the rich and wonderful community of ecc. And if others are having a bad day i can cheer them up and help them threw rough times like other people would do.Sometimes ecc is a way to just waste time if you have nothing to day on a day just hop onto ecc and have fun. Ecc it self is like a virtual world thats like the real world the interactions can sometimes feal very real.One thing that i absolutely love about ecc is the fact there is a lotto, you can win money for the game using the lotto.Some people use the lotto as their main sorce of income and others use mining as a source of income. The community of this game is the nicest of any other games that you can go on.I encourage anyone that has the chance and the time to get on ecc to do it. It is one of the best experiences ive ever had on a virtual world type game.

ECC in a lot of ways is in alot of ways is like the real world or from my understanding America. First Wealth is power and with the power you get wealth. There is a means of exchanging currencies real life and ECC being seen as countries. You start from the bottom have to get lucky or earn your way to the top.You can only take loans if you have a means to pay it off. People will only trust you to give you a loan if you have a certain standing in the game and you are seen as a mature and capable person.The lottery in makes up the ECC being most like the real world. The poor see it as a means of making quick money and not have to work for their way to the top. The lottery is ruled by the rich if the rich feel like they need more money. The lottery makes and breaks most players for their game and this can go for the same in real life. The idea of payment plans makes affording a outrageously priced item affordable for the moderate players who don't have 100s of thousands to spend at a time. Those who have skills like building and are patient enough to farm will thrive if they are capable of meeting what their client likes. Town make it you have a stable home but only if you can buy the plot, find someone generous enough, or make a rent plan. Hackers can be seen as the criminals of ECC where they what they have to to get a advantage over those who follow the rules and when caught suffer the consequences, these criminals are even given second chances which in real life happens if they see a reason behind it. The staff is the government of ECC they make our laws, guide players to be educated in how the world works, and if the players are lucky enough get aid in surviving, even logging out can be seen as sleep. ECC in some ways feels like a oligarchy where there are a small amount of people who own most of our wealth and they have been in power throughout the game and have played for years. Wealth is everything in the game without money you can not achieve anything unless you take the time to do it all which will help your progress but isn't a path many take. The one way i can think of how this is not like real life murder is legal..

My analysis for ECC
ECC is without a doubt in my mind the best server I have found and is not given enough justice with the population it has. It is the closest in my opinion you could get to real life in alot of aspects of the game. The mods aren't abusive, you have the freedom to do pretty much what you want to get ahead in the game and most things you took for granted from playing other servers or single player are ones you have to either buy with real life money or earn in the game. I haven't been able to enjoy many servers before this one except maybe one other and it had to many problems its self.
ECC is stable, the people are generous, yes you have the occasional A hole but that is to be expected with any game and most time their dealt with swiftly and fairly.Their is always ways the server is being improved and advancing. I haven't seen many servers do events like this where you have to think critically and go beyond the game.

ECC is similar to the real world in that it provides a chance to learn about and understand the basic structure of an economy where the sellers and consumers have a heavy influence on the value of goods (think about the changing value of nether stars). It also enables players to interact with others and learn how to appropriately communicate when selling or buying products. The purchase and ownership of property is also a significant part of in game and real life where property generally equals wealth (think about history, feudalism, etc.).

ECC is different than the real world because it gives players a chance to make mistakes that could be either catastrophic or irreversible in real life (lotto). You also have a greater chance to express yourself and make different impressions on people that aren't necessarily based on your physical appearance or personal beliefs that might otherwise isolate you in real life.

I think the ECC has a great community overall and that the majority of those willingly participating are truly trying to provide and create valuable experiences for other players. I and many others have seen the support we give and receive frequently in forum posts and on the in game chats and I think this really helps to build the community. As I said before, our community is built upon kindness, toleration, and without judgement. It is moderated and supported by a great team of staff who emphasize their mission to make ECC a great place to meet people with similar interests in a safe and helpful environment. So, I guess you could say that our community is more similar to reality than different because it is really the people involved who make up this community and the environment in which it stands.

This question is more opinionated and determined by how you look at ECC. In a way it is a hierarchy due to the different ranks and with each rank comes different privileges. It is also based on wealth both Ecodollars and real life money which can determine what privileges you can buy and somewhat divides players into classes based on the amount of money they have (or are willing to spend). It can also be said that the community is structured through experience, popularity, and rank because people are more likely to trust and interact with those that are trusted and respected by the rest of the community.

ECC is a great place for people of all ages to interact and play Minecraft. It provides a positive and helpful environment and community emphasized by the contributions and participation of great players and a wonderful support staff. This server provides a chance to connect the real world to that of a virtual one where mistakes don't necessarily have to be catastrophic and opportunities to learn new skills are frequently available. Committed players make it of great importance to work hard at their goals whether it be to obtain a certain rank or create an amazing build. In addition, they help to enable this community to grow and thrive by offering feedback and assistance to those who have recently joined or who have been here since the creation of the server. Overall, this server provides a fun and unique place where physical characteristics don't limit you and a huge community is ready to catch and support you if you stumble or fall.

ECC is a lot like real life in some respects, people try to earn a currency, and that currency can be used to buy goods/services/ect. The economy, like in real life, follows patterns of supply and demand, and is subject to inflation. There are however several key differences.
1. The /sell command. However cool it would be, I can't pick up a real rock and shout, /sell hand and have a nickle magically appear in my pocket. So a higher percentage of players aren't dependent on other players for income.
2. There are no unobtainable. In real life, their are 1000's of successful businesses, but in ECC, there are only a handful. This is because in real life, there are some things I must buy from a company. I have no idea how to build a computer, or write the code of minecraft, so I am forced to by from a company. However, for say apple, it is easy to mass produce hundreds of computers, so they can sell them for a profit. On ECC, there are very few items one player can obtain easily that the rest can't. If I want diamonds, I can go mine them, if I want pumpkins, I can go farm them. That being said, sometimes it is just easier to buy items from a company, but the demand to patronize one is considerably lower than in real life for most things.
3. All items are the same. Lets return to the computer analogy. A dell windows computer is very different from a apple mac. Some people say windows computers are better for gaming, some will tell you that mac's are more user friendly. But a diamond you by in game is the same as any other diamond. If I buy a diamond from say, Station5, it will be exactly the same as at Station6. I can't claim to sell a higher quality diamond than enyone else. So that means the only way shops can compete is with prices. Given no one will sell below the /sell price, prices across shops tend to be nearly the same.
The retail model works well in game though, just ask usernameofdeath. The trick is margins. Since no one would ever sell there items to far below /sell prices, often see signs selling for just cents above what they are buying for. Since there is no /sell IRL, there is a better chance to get higher margins.
I think donation features can be related to IRL. It takes money to make money. You can always spend a little to get ahead.
Inflation operates exactly like IRL, when the ECC administration sets the /sell price to high, its like a government printing to much currency, and that currency will have decrease in value quickly. Those with large holdings of ECD don't like to see much inflation, because the things they have worked for will lose value, whereas the newer/poor players generally support inflation, because it would make life easier for them for a bit. I think the thing that is most like IRL is supply and demand. When the vote site count dropped, the nstar price went up.
