I have been pretty annoyed when I get more reputation, and cannot find where the thumbsup/like are.
So I really think there should be an little icon (Like on facebook) that when someone liked your comment or quoted it there should be an little [1 Announcement]
or something in the menu next to your message bar.
( I got 40rep one day totally randomly and coudln't find where the liked comment were.)
