Sorry Andrew, you deserve a lot of respect that you don't get. I'm sorry for the complaining. we all should write what we like about the server.

Andrew is the most important person here, with out him we would not have this server and not have the friends we have made while playing this amazing server. This is the best server I've ever played and i hope that this server will last for much long and that Andrew will keep this amazing server up and running. We all love you Andrew :D

I completely agree, no one knows how much this man does for everyone and the server. From selling his Ipod to pay for the server, to spending hundreds of hours trying to make the server perfect and please other people, and many more things. I cannot express my appreciation for Andrewkm, for the amount of fun he has given me in my life. He is an amazing man, the best and most fun server owner there ever will be. You are a

I wasn't part of whatever it was that happened (typically because I can cope with any changes as they're made for the betterment of the server) but I fully agree that andrewkm does an excellent job at maintaining the server. He deserves everyone's love XD

Here's the thing.

Users (and especially donors) have every right to complain. In Minecraft as anywhere else, it's a fundamental human right to be able to express one's thoughts. That said, everyone--and especially someone upon whose grace your fun depends--is also entitled to a certain level of respect.

Andrew, as the server owner, also has every right to ignore those complaints. It's his server, and the direction in which it grows is entirely up to him. He's been at this from the beginning, I'd like to think he knows what is best. And often enough, what is best is not going to be what is popular.

There's a reason that democracy throughout history has been censored, muted, and dulled. There's a reason that the reigns should never be handed over entirely to the unruly mob (for that is what the people are). Andrew was well within his rights to change the server as he saw fit, and the users were well within their rights for complaining. But far too many of them did so without respect, and far too many of them misunderstood the fundamental relationship between the server owner and the users of that server: it's Andrew's call, and although it behooves him to take user interests into consideration, it's ultimately up to him.

Have a little faith--chances are somebody whose been here since day 1 has a good idea as to the best path forward.
