Accepted Amount Sg is Making

Sg money needs a nerf. I thought this was just a troll when I saw it was being tripled on the forums.

 

Sooo,being good at pvp is a bad thing? The reason Andrew did the change is because he wants to revive sg. It's a good way to make money and 1.9 pvp is hard af. Whoever wins is a good pvper IMO.

 

@ctop_1013 you assume that one wins every match at 30k per hour. In reality, with different people winning, it's more aroubd 20k.

20k an hours is still better than some star tools. And it requires not that much investment. The fact that you have to put in 1million ECD to get a return that is less than a fun game mode which gives you money for little investment and effort.

SG is starting to become a viable source of money for non-kitters. Why would you ruin that?
Every other way of making money is boring. Do you want a boring server? Do you want this server to stay at low player count?

Your reasoning here is that making money a fun way should be more profitable that working hard for it. This server is a hardcore economy server we aren't meant to be able to get money super easily. The whole point of this server is to work for your money so that you can gain more and be rich. Creating shortcuts and easy ways to get money like this undermines the whole foundation of this server.

 

But its not that easy to win sg with all of the good people in kit and kit free matches.

 

Only good people or kitters earn money fast.

 

Hardcore economy server ≠ boring economy server.

If we don't have fun ways of making money for new players, new players will quit and play a server that is more fun for them. People play minecraft servers to have fun. It's as simple as that.

There should be work, but that work does not need to be boring.

A hardcore economy does not equal a boring economy server. Correct. But the fact of the matter is that this server is meant to be a server where you work for your money so you can have fun. Having fun and making money defeats the purpose of this server which is to create an economy. Economies require that people work and SG is not work it's play. And something like should not make more than people sitting down and working for their money.

 

How is it a shortcut? Are you aware of how much I have spent on kits? At the current ECD prices of kits, I have spent 7 million+. Yes, 7 MILLION ECD ON KITS. So essentially, sg is a 7 million ecd startool. Furthermore, keep in mind I can never sell my kits, unlike a star tool. The money is gone forever.

You bought 7 million kits which even without you could still make crazy money. If you were to win only kit free matches you could make more than people do with star tools. It's a 50% chance to get a kit free match. Also you bought all the kits which is vastly unnecessary.

 

It use to be only 25% you just haven't been on the server long enough to know that I guess. Also how is it a waste of money if it makes for then a star tool?

 

With star tools you can make 40k per hour. You just need some brains and good music. I bought the kits before kit free existed, and ever since, they have been continually nerfed. Do you know how frustrating it is to see a multi million investment slowly dwindle and not be able to do anything about it?

 

Ok, I will be the one to admit I am in no way a good SG PvP player but I think I am decent and can get few kills. The problem is that a lot of the higher rank players who have kits or have more experience in SG team with other good players and basically dominate every single game (I don't want to single anyone out but I can thing of a handful right off the bat - I am not bashing on them, I think its cool that they are really good at PvP and mastered SG) but this creates a dominance in SG which doesn't allow mediocre players, builders, non teamers, etc.., to ever win and make a penny. I played liked 5-8 games yesterday and one person who won every single one of them. This is just my opinion before you all go on about me being bad, I myself admit I am not a godly PvP player so this is just my perspective.\
EDIT: This won't change much even if the rewards get reduced because it was a problem before too so all I am saying is nothing changed from increasing the rewards other than all the kitters and previous good SG just have a another way to make good amount of money. Yes SG is revived but just to a previous state with the same problems.

 

We all had to start some where by saving up to get kits and getting good and finding teams you guys can do the same thing
