    But they should be treated as warp signs, and other "Special Features"
    If you really want something, Just pay the 20k or so, The GA+ will place it and lock it (nofeatures)
    I understand its more work for Staff members, But This is a good way to limit the over use of beacons.
    Maybe having a limit of like 4 per town?

    I have to disagree with this it should cost is nothing to place I will not pay any amount and make a app every dam time i need one placed what if i need like 10 placed at once... We need to start allowing players to do certain things if we want to keep players.

    Agreed, as it will make lights fanciful than the old-fashioned glowstones. But at least, make it inoperable only if it is used for decoration, but that means you have to use it at your own risk.

    Beacons are NOT laggy if used correctly , the beam is probably easy to render because its's just one plane with a texture cloned 4 time and gl rotated.
