In Game Name: JdawgerWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Upgraded Star Items for MCMMOWhat are you suggesting: Just like Netherite Star Tools give off double MCMMO XP, have a way to upgrade the rest of the star tools for double MCMMOWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: I love the idea of double MCMMO tools as a buff to netherite star tools (swords, axes, shovel, hoe, pick), but we should go one step further and make the rest of the tools have this ability to be upgraded as well for double MCMMO (and possible future buffs). It might even give an incentive to create these. See below for what I think we can do for buffsOther information: Obviously, it would require netherite and the smithmaster feature Here's what I was thinking for buffs: Fishing Rod would boost Fishing Bows/Crossbow would boost Bows (idr if crossbows boost Archery or not) Helmet would boost Alchemy Chestplate would boost Unarmed Boots would boost AcrobaticsPlugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
I think you missed the point of the suggestion. Everything I listed doesn't have a netherite upgrade/MCMMO 2x boost for star items: Bows, crossbows, fishing rods cannot be netherite items in vanilla (thus currently do not benefit from double XP from netherite star items) and the armor (to my knowledge) doesn't boost any skills, thus why I suggested the helmet, chestplate, and boots give a boost to alchemy, unarmed, and acrobatics respectively.
I feel like this is actually two suggestions rolled into one, and should be separated into: - mcmmo buffs for certain star tools - mcmmo buffs for netherite armor The reasoning? On the the first point (star tools), -1. I think the mcmmo buffs are a nice perk to encourage smithmaster usages, but I don't see why they ought to be awarded to non-upgraded tools, even if they are star tools. Maybe this would be a good L3 magic perk, but I just don't like it the way it's suggested here. On the second point (armor), tentative +1. Definitely should be some buffs to armor to encourage smithing them. I assume leggings aren't included due to the fact there's only a limit number of non-tooled skills, but to be comfortable there should be one buff for each armor piece.
I agree with this, maybe give a 0.25× modifier for alchemy/unarmed/acrobatics per piece of star armour so that the legs aren't valued way less than the other pieces
On the fence about this bc don’t wanna make everything too easy on ECC. But it makes sense because it’s been implemented with other netherrite items. +0.99
