Acknowledged [All Main Servers Suggestion] un-OP fishing

Q is my key bind to run an autoclicker, which can kill mobs at a spawner setup and make what...3-4x more than fishing? Sir I believe you had good intentions writing this, but you may lack knowledge. Everything can be automated. Farming, fishing, it's all just reading the same chat, there is no difference. Everyone prints the same money.

I mean it is like the most easily accessible to normies, and I agree it should probably make the least money, but it would be that already if only mining was buffed.

 

yeah i agree if mining was buffed i would probably be doing that more than fishing cause despite everyone saying its to ez its boring as fuck to fish compared to mining

I love coming and seeing suggestions and then people who don't even play on the server / basically never log in being all "do this do that"

Anywho, I don't think nerfing fishing is the issue I think it's more of the fact that mining, and some other skills basically make fk all for income. This is MINE craft and essentially mining on this server is next to useless for money aside from maybe the nether.

I think the real issue here is past suggestions simply being ignored possibly out of sheer laziness and not wanting to deal with the issues. Mining needs a buff, some farming crops aren't even farmed because it's pointless they aren't worth fk all. Chopping down trees aside from for a build is basically 0 profit. It's not that fishing needs a nerf it's that the entire economy went to shit and hasn't been dealt with.

 

I now only mine to keep my shop stocked, even then it's barely worth my time. I'd like to see other money making methods buffed rather than the current good ones nerfed. It's not even worth upkeeping a prestige shop unless someone is bulk selling fish to you :/

 

I think money making methods need to be looked at. I dont understand why all the low effort activities are the highest money earners. Farming crops should make alot of money. It takes a massive amount of time to make a farm that is big enough to consistently farm. Mining should make more money. It is a high effort activity. Things are backwards with money making and it should change. Are we just looking to be a afk-money making server or something? Keep prices the same for fishing, but buff other money making methods so that those players who are willing to put effort into making more money can do that. If I recall correctly, fishing was never a GREAT money maker, but a low effort money maker. Reward players who are willing to put in the effort. simple as that.

 

It would also give more of an 'accomplishment' feeling to gaining tools such as magic picks, swords etc. especially for those who grind non-stop to gain these.

 

I agree things need to change hopefully with the new ownership things like this will finally be looked at seriously.

 

We've already started work on a few fishing changes that will help with the current state of things.
