What are you suggesting:

I've made an enhancement request, and am currently working on an addition to the ChestShop-3 plugin to have a stock counter.

I believe it would be extremely helpful to have an indicator of whether or not the chest shop is either empty, or full. This could look like:
Q 2304 : C 1330
Q for Quantity, C for Count/Current.

Assuming the main developer approves of my work once I'm complete, (or if another developer picks up on this and does the work), my suggestion is to add this to ECC!

Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:

Well, for me, for ShopDB of course. A stock indicator, the most requested feature for me by far, would become a reality.

For other reasons outside of just ShopDB -
As a chest shop owner, I find it difficult to identify which chests I need to restock (or empty out if I'm selling.)
I often have to walk around my shop and open each chest to know if I am out of stock of a particular item.

As a shopper, sometimes it is frustrating to find which signs are valid, and which are out of stock.
For instance, often times players are buying or selling in bulk and have dozens of signs for the same item.
A lot of the time, us shoppers have to click on various signs until we find one that is available to use.

I've already talked a little bit to Andrew about this, but want to go through the traditional route for suggestions to get feedback from the community and as an FYI. If you're opposed to this, please speak up and let us know!

Plugin or custom addition:

Modification I'm making to the existing ChestShop-3 plugin. This modification would be added to the official plugin after review from the developers, so would require an update of the official plugin and a one-line (new) configuration addition.

This is contingent on me or another developer creating this functionality and getting it tested and reviewed, as the plugin does not support this as it is right now.
