+1 if andrew intended that /magic shouldn't work on netherite tools. I still think that /magic should work on netherite tools.
If this is how it's intended to be then sure, allow it to be changed with the above suggestion. If not, would still be a nice addition, but less required. +1/+1 based on the above
I mean regardless of the bug report solution, if it’s easily implemented this could have its uses and save development time elsewhere. A lot of people get over the look of netherite pretty quick. Just adds some versatility with the feature and makes the transition from diamond to netherite less permanent.
honestly diamond tools look so much better than netherite, i wish i could make all my nether tools diamond again
