Re: Better /sell commandsWhat are you suggesting:
I am suggesting that there would be a variation of the /sell command that would allow for a PLACEHOLDER (1 item) left from EACH slot /sell is selling from to be left behind. This would stop the inventory from being clogged by items that cannot be sold. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
This would make farming/mining far less tedious with items clogging the inventory such as cooked meat in mob grinding. It would allow the user to have their inventory set up in a way where its not possible for unsellable items to clog the inventory.Other information:

Especially when mobs like skeletons appear and bows drop, it's beyond annoying.
Big +1 if easily able to be done. -
+0, leaning -1. This would be cool, but I’m not seeing the benefits of needing to keep one item in each inventory slot. It could just be me, that’s why I’m not saying -1 right away. If I need to do this, it prob will be for one single type of item, which can be solved two ways: if there is not that many items I need to sell (let’s say I have 52 dirt) then I can easily see I need to sell 51, so /sell hand 51 (or /sell dirt 51). If I have a lot of an item (like a few stacks of dirt), I could run /worth hand (or /worth dirt) to see how many dirt blocks I have, the do the same /sell command I listed earlier with one less than that total I saw.
Again, I just don’t see the necessary need to keep one item in every inventory slot, so I don’t necessarily see the use of the command, especially when there is an easy way to achieve the same thing in my opinion.-

I agree 100%
Could also help if they made bows sellable to the server. But that’s for a different suggestion.
+1 as this would be very handy in certain situations. -
Yes I have btw. I haven’t done it in a while, so something might’ve slipped my mind. No need to be kind of rude buddy.
Yes, I see the benefit now with bows in skeleton grinders. I agree that it is beneficial with those mobs. Is there any other benefit besides that specific mob grinder? If so, that will defiantly change my opinion, as there is an easier work around for the dev team besides this (it’s worth it if there are more reasons besides one specific mob grinder)-

Another example is for newer players using fortune pickaxes, if you /sell all you lose all your placeholders and your inventory will quickly fill with stone. Adding the option to have semi-permanent placeholders is just a huge quality of life boost.-

I think this is a great idea especially for certain types of grinding eg mining and spawner setups especially. Not sure how much extra work it would be for the dev team and I guess it isnt a urgent change but would be nice to be put on the back burner as and when there is more time to look at the "nice to have" changes !
+1 from me-

+1 If this is possible, then it would be awesome! It would be neat if chest shops could implement this feature as well.

Unfortunately we have scratched this suggestion.
We would not be able to implement this into the current sell code without some major changes. Would likely for simplicity have to be a whole new command, and I'm not looking to monitor yet another sell function on an economy server risking future bugs, dupes, issues, etc.
This one won't happen at this time, sorry.-
