-1 for a few reasons, but I'll list my main one As you know because this happened with you, I ask residents sometimes if they want a free rank up + ECD in exchange for their town. If you can change your rank, then I could pm a "resident" who is actually a Tycoon. It would make things super confusing

+1 Yes! Apply this for sponsors aswell! So we can hide the tags from time to time, and just be a EcoLeader or Mayor.
