    More Speed in Spawn
    What are you suggesting:
    I feek like spawn is so big it needs to have some speed added so you can traverse it faster. Especially if you are a builder starting out it is nice to have some speed so you can quickly run around and explore all of spawn.
    Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
    It is not fun exporing spawn if you dont have fly/speed because of how slow you run and how big spawn is.

    Actually @TankNoodle its TC++ that you would have to use.

    Either way, +1. Spawn is very large and new players would likely appreciate a slight boost to speed.

    My only concern is that it'll cause confusion when they slow down as soon as they leave spawn.

    I don’t think it really will because they will put 2 and 2 together and think oh I’m out of spawn. It will also show that the spawn towns near spawn don’t count as spawn anymore.

    We probably all have our own preference of what speed is the optimal speed for walking. Town control speed flags override own speed settings, and we could spend all day debating what the optimal speed is for activities (I find it quite hard to accurately click chests at my spawn shop at speed 10 for example)

    Also, I think the speed changes will confuse newer players, particularly when dropping out of spawn and the "camera shake" that would happen. Do we need new players blitzing through the signs at tutorial at warp 10?

    Kenny... no one in their right mind is suggesting they walk at warp 10. Also you can set tutorial to a different speed than the ground area of spawn. ie: The subregion that is tutorial is normal and the ground is faster. I'm not talking Speed 10. I'm talking just slightly faster like 2 or 3, maybe 4. That way they can move faster on the ground.

    Further, most of us with Speed/Fly spend most of our time flying which is not effected by the TownContol flags and thus, would be irrelevant to most of the people who are already capable of changing their own speed.

    I probably used the speed 10 for tutorial as an extreme example.

    While a lot of people might fly round all the time, people do still walk on the ground (For example, I only have regular fly, so typically will only do /speed on the gound after briefly returning from mining world, unless I need to fly immediatly). By having the town flag set, the "choice" of which speed people walk at is gone.

    Additionally, I personally think for a new player, increased speed, as well as changing of speeds when entering and leaving spawn would just feel "un natural", particularily in the case of short visits to spawn, such as breifly enchanting something then returning home.

    I never said make it speed 10. I just said give players a slight speed boost so they could walk faster. Maybe something like speed 3 or 4 so it’s not too fast.
