That would usually be the solution, but at the moment /mail doesn't show the message in chat when it is sent, which means you can't screenshot it for the purpose of evicting. This is unintended and is being worked on at the moment, so this problem should be solved once that is sorted.
This has now been fixed. I am still waiting on a response from you guys regarding /mail Regarding the suggestion: At this time I will be denying this as our /mail system is being worked on.
