What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
All Main Servers
Short title for your suggestion:
/magic w/ Jobs Apparel or Jobs Feat.
What are you suggesting:
Either one of two things in regards to upgrading Jobs Apparel
1.) Allow /magic to upgrade Jobs Apparel
or
2.) Add a command to the Jobs Feature to upgrade Jobs Apparel to the next tier. With each level of Jobs, it can have a better cooldown or allow it on MainNorth. I suggest the following tiers if we go this option:
- Jobs: 1 Jobs Apparel Upgrade on Main with a 60 day cooldown
- Jobs+: 1 Jobs Apparel Upgrade on Main with a 30 day cooldown
- Jobs++: 1 Jobs Apparel Upgrade on Main & one on MainNorth, both with a 30 day cooldown
- Jobs+++: 1 Jobs Apparel Upgrade on Main & one on MainNorth, both with a 15 day cooldown
(If we go this second option, I would also lightly suggest increasing the price for the Jobs Features on the store, but that's not something I am fully suggesting in this suggestion)
Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
At this point in time, we have no clue how much each Jobs Apparel crate will be, but just like magic tools and even boosted items, allowing a user to have the opportunity to upgrade their Jobs Apparel would be amazing and even drive some more revenue into the server (not to mention boost the economy)
Now for context, I want to talk about how we currently have /boost as it will tie into the specifics later. The beauty of /boost that keeps people buying it is because there are hundreds of items that could be boosted, and boosted three times. It keeps people buying boosts from the store & from each other (not to mention keeps the value of boosts high).
Jobs apparel has 56 unique items across 4 levels each. That's 168 possible upgrades. By adding some sort of way to upgrade them, it can increase people wanting to buy the relevant features and/or can create a new market for trade/increase an already dying one. Below is specifics for each path to show how it would work if we choose that one.
1.) Magic is one of those commands that can only go as far for someone once they run out of items. It differs from what Boosts are (which I stated above) since there is a relatively small amount of magics that someone wants due to a smaller supply of magic items. If we allow the Jobs Apparel to increase rank with each /magic, it can allow people to want to sell their /magics at higher prices, and may cause people to buy the Wizard Feature. It ultimately breathes new life into these upgrades.
2.) As an alternative if we don't want to allow this with /magic, adding a command to upgrade these with the Jobs Feature tree could make more sense since it is tied to Jobs already. This can add a new, high-value market like boosts did where people can use the command themselves for their armor, or sell it to others. Could also add standalone upgrades (like boosts have) to allow people to directly purchase and trade them (and the one in the feature tree can be like /boost free currently is)
