To be honest I feel a leather variant should be offered as well for the upcoming powdered snow blocks. However administration wants to handle this is open for discussion.
I’m on the fence tbh. There are two variations of magic armor pieces: standard diamond and the Netherite version. Typically, people make it Netherite, but some don’t because it requires smithmaster (and iirc, smithmaster has a cool down for all ranks except the last one, so it is hard to find someone to do it for free/cheap). It’s a neat idea, but the details could be a little confusing in my option: would you offer it for both diamond and Netherite (which will prob require a lot of coding) or just Netherite, which again could cause an issue with those who have diamond. Plus, I’m curious how many people would even do this seeing as how Magic armor is worthless outside of magic days
I believe Chainmail is the most aesthetically looking armor and that is why I made this suggestion. I could care less if the armor does not work on magic days, but I would enjoy wearing it any time.
+1 make it possible to convert magic armour to leather or chainmail! More player customisation uniqueness is never a bad thing. even if it’s a forum application where you leave your armour in chests then staff can swap it out for you
Far too much of an overhaul of our magic armor system, for merely "aesthetic" reasons. Would be "nice" but provides no real gameplay benefit. Unfortunately our focus is elsewhere right now as we have quite the backlog.
