-1 travel bags are required to move items between servers, ereps are a luxury not a requirement, additionally it's usually very easy to get a free erep from another user.
Ereps are far easier to acquire when compared to travel bags, and I’m on the fence with regards to the TB change myself. -1
-1 I grinded hard for my feats not to see them get free for everyone months later don’t get me wrong, I’m not against helping new players, but I don’t think this is the right way
-1 I agree with what's been said above. Travel bags are required, E-Reps are a luxury. I'm all for helping new players, however I'm against just giving out features for free, even on a cool down - especially when so many players have paid for it and are willing to do them for free.
How are ereps not a requirement? You can't make money without enchanted tools, and not a single one of those will earn a profit off of just one durability. You can choose to only play on one server but you can't choose not to use enchanted tools. Right, the market value of an erep right now is actually $0. I don't see how allowing players limited to access does anything but save people with the feature time. I mean, you can't be "all for" something and then say you're against the largest set of changes that has actually given a benefit to new players. New players value being independent and not relying on the pity of high level donors. Like it's pretty shitty to tell new users "this is literally worthless and you still can't have it", which is really the feeling they get when they have to ask for something that costs $0.
You can repair tools with one of the many free anvils scattered around the server. Or use mending, or sell the tools go gopro so he can fund poor wars. A huge amount of feats have a market "value" of 0$, because they are exclusively QoL features that are designed to make people want to buy them. If you want to remove paywalls entirely because most of the $$$ comes from whales anyways, then that would be a separate suggestion. If they value being independent, wouldn't they pay the equivalent of that value into the server to gain access to the feats? I would totally value getting 200 spanner keys each month, but the fact is that currently the only lost values comes in the 20 seconds it takes to write up a trade ad and get a trade request. Also, you can be all for some change without embracing certain means of achieving it. Ereps aren't worthless though, just ask the players who have payed up to 100$ for the privilege of having them on demand. I'm all for abolishing feats and making ECC Eula compliant though, but 100% needs to be 100% I'm also open to changing my mind on all of this if you show me something that I haven't considered.
