Denied [All Main Servers Suggestion] ECC/Magic Tool tweaks

Wasn't a suggestion almost exactly like this one denied a few days ago?

I think that an inflating economy is not the best thing, and the massive wealth gap is even worse, but I don't see how making it so that a cabal of highly trustworthy, very rich/old players control the entire economy is an improvement over the status quo.

I am no fan of the introduction of ECC tools, but this is the wrong way of going about fixing the problem.
It punishes people who paid real $s and bought spins, won tools, and rented them out.
And it punishes people who are wanting to rent them.
And it doesn't solve the problem of an OP tool.

 

So what you just said to me would be a massive pain... it would rely on mad being online to switch the /own or you would have to leave one of the most valuable tools on the game unowned in-between our uses.

Also on another note having read other answers it is also very true regarding rentals... if these cant be rented out it only separated ecc players further by so many not being able to use them via rentals. IF there were loads and loads of these tools rented out I could see them then making star tools pretty useless for money making but as it is the number of ecc players to ECC/Magic tool ration is still in favour of rentals.

 

Will be denying this as we've just introduced a major change to ECC. I'd like to see how things play out first before moving forward with more changes to these tools.
