    I am fully on board with buffing the end and bringing /near back. The end should focus and praise PVP.

    /near does not work in the nether which is also a PVP world.

    Personally, I'm against adding /near to PvP worlds. I remember how well that worked when mining was PvP. However, if we were to add it in, I am absolutely against giving it no limit. The only 'no limit' /near is for GA's+ to my knowledge. If you guys get /near it should still be a 500 block radius. You wanna hunt people? At least work a bit for it :p

    I just don't know why it has changed since before the server reset. It used to be no limit can someone please explain to me why this was taken away?

    It was taken away because they made the end like the nether, useless except for a couple of blocks

    Tombstone++ really hit the end hard, it removes the danger completely for pvpers while also making finding anyone in the end less valuable (just because of the chance they have t++).
    Totally agree. From a farming perspective it does feel bad that people can harass you on your farm if they have tombstone++ with no risk.
    From a pvpers perspective, the cost of finding someone is too high to be worth it without /near which is where I feel like this idea is coming from.
    With that in mind, I don't know if this is the best solution. As I mentioned, making it easier to find people might make the trade-off of time vs possible reward easier for pvpers, but as the farmers have pointed out they can easily be abused. If this change was coupled with a lockout timer (ie you die and cant go back in the end for x amount of time) then I think it would be a more effective solution.
    End of the day some kind of risk needs to be added back for players in the end, if losing items is no longer a reliable option then we may need to start being a little more creative.

    I don't think you could have a cooldown for entering the end after you die, because when you die you go to the end spawn. Ig changing respawn point might be easy though
