What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    All Main Servers
    Short title for your suggestion:
    allow /smelt on coal ore
    What are you suggesting:
I want to be able to use /smelt and turn my coal ore into coal.
Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
We had this before and I'm not too sure why it was removed. I don't want to waste time fortuning coal ore. I would prefer being able to /smelt it for 1 piece of coal and lose out on the small amount of xp and additional coal pieces gained from fortune3.
    Other information:
    N/A
    Plugin or custom addition:
    custom I think
    One suggestion per form:
    I Understand.

+1 the point of smelt is to smelt stuff. Why remove smeltable items?

I don't play as much but I'd always just smelt my coal ore.

as someone who enjoys fortuning all of their ores (espically coal) I would personally -1 this suggestion, however seeing why some people would want to be able to smelt their coal I would +1.

As of how the current suggestion is, I would +0 it, however if it were possible I would 100% be for a "/smelt ores" or requiring a /confirm when smelting, specifically for just ores but I'm sure there are some other blocks or items that can be smelted that people wouldnt be opposed to being added to this.

The reason I feel like this would be a good addition would be because it would make the people who mine and do not want to accidentally /smelt their ores happy because they are less likely to do so, but would also allow those who wish to smelt their ores (specifically coal) to do so.

+1 Thank you chundi very cool

The time it takes to fortune coal ore is not worth the time, and it would be so much easier to just be able to /smelt

It takes 5 seconds to remove ores that bear exp from your inventory,
It can take 10+ minutes to fortune a decent amount of coal ore.

Coal ore (in addition to all ores that weren’t iron and gold) was removed because they are affected by the fortune enchantment, while /smelt just yields one gem.

regardless, +1 if it is just coal ore and no other ore types that already cannot be /smelt’d

That's how smelting works though. If you pay for a smelting feature, you should be able to smelt what you want.

Like said above, it takes 2 seconds to remove things you don't want smelted from your inventory -- whereas the other case leaves people unable to use a feature they literally paid for.

by that logic, all ores should be smeltable than, because you "can smelt all of them" just because you're able to doesn't mean it needs to be added.

if anything lets make it (if possible) similar to how with /condense you have to do an extra string to condence items like glowstone and snow blocks. This would make both groups happy.

I’m just saying, that’s the reason they were taken off the smelt list. They used to be on it, then many people complained.

i'd +1 but make it an extra command. If I /smelt all, i dont want coal and redstone smelted to. So maybe /smelt allnorev like with condense

I would be in favour of this as well. As you said before, /smelt should be allowed to be used on smeltable items. Those who do not want to take the extra time/effort to fortune these ores are forced to a) smelt them in a furnace, or b) /ci or /trash them. It is a lot easier for those who do want to fortune them to simply store all ores in a /pv, /tb, or /enderchest until they are able to fortune them, than it is for players like me who are forced to toss out these items.

I’ll post my thoughts again: I wouldn’t mind adding coal ore to the /smelt again, but that is it; redstone, Diamond, emerald, lapis, and quartz should NOT be re-added

I rly would prefer to return to smelting all ores when doing /smelt all

That's why i bought it once.
For not having to place my coal ores and farm em again.

    Another point :

When more coal ores get "smelted" it gives less profit and less xp.
Could help the economy a lil bit to reduce inflation...

Edit: only two people answered the old suggestion and it got changed. There wasn't even a Diskussion about it.

And I don't understand where there was a bug when /smelt all. Smelted coal and Redstone and diamond and lapis....

It was meant to smelt all.
Otherwise it could have been /smelt iron or /smelt gold
